The Ross Township Fire Police, founded in 1978, consist of fire police officers from all eight Ross Township Fire Departments. They operate as one emergency unit to enhance the safety of not only themselves, but for fire fighters, police and all other emergency personnel as well as the traveling public. Fire police respond to fires, accidents, floods, parades, community functions and other emergency details.
Anyone with interest in joining the Ross Fire Police, both men and women, please call 412-931-9033, contact your local fire department, or stop in at their headquarters on Cemetery Lane. For more information, visit the Station 254 Facebook Page.
