Leaf Bag Collection

About the Program

The Township offers leaf bag collection two times a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall.

The Spring collection takes place the first two weeks in April. The Fall collection starts in mid-October and runs through the end of November.

What Can I Put in the Bag?

- Dry leaves
- Small twigs
- Dead plants

Do NOT place tree branches in the bag.

Larger branches can be collected during Monthly Limb Collection.

Do I Need to Schedule a Collection?

NO - Leaf bags should be placed out with your weekly refuse during the Spring and Fall collection dates. Public Works will collect leaf bags throughout the entire Township.

What Kind of Bag Can I Use?

** Only brown paper recycling bags will be collected **

Please Note: Waste Management will not collect yard waste in brown paper bags throughout the year. They only routinely collect yard waste in plastic bags.
