Code Enforcement

Enforcement of the Ross Township building codes and zoning ordinances is handled by the Building Inspection Department. Common complaints regarding dogs, animals, noise, etc. are handled by the Ross Township Police Department.

The Building Inspection Department also enforces the 2009 International Property Maintenance Code. This code regulates how properties are maintained. This ensures that the health and safety of the residents and others are maintained. Some of the provisions of the property maintenance code regulate rubbish and garbage accumulation as well as high grass and weeds.

Please note that you must complete a Complaint Form in order for our department to investigate your concern. After your complaint form is received by our department, please allow our staff an minimum of five (5) days to investigate your complaint prior to contacting our office.
