Property Tax/Rent Rebate Applications You may be eligible for cash rebate on the rent or property taxes you paid in 2025. The Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program provides financial relief to eligible seniors, widows, and widowers, and individuals with disabilities age 18 and up. Many Pennsylvanians qualify for this program and may receive up to $1,000. Last year, my office helped return over $265,000 to local residents through this program. I encourage you to contact my district office to see if you're eligible. My team is ready to assist you with the application process. You'll need your income information, proof of rent or property tax payments, and we can guide you through the process. This rebate can make a real difference, and I am committed to helping as many people as possible access these savings. Give us a call today at 412-321-5523, email repKinkead@pahouse.net, or stop by and see us at 658 Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue.
Very respectfully, State Representative Emily Kinkead

Pick Up After Your Pet & Protect Our Waterways! Did you know that dog waste is the third largest contributor of bacterial pollution in our waterways? When you and your neighbors pick up after your pets, you help reduce pollution in our rivers & streams and protect local water quality.
When walking your pet, please remember to:
- Pick up and bag waste
- Dispose of waste bags in the trash
- Never leave filled bags behind - there is no poop fairy!
Consider using reusable "Pack It Out" bags to carry waste until you reach a trash can. They make it easier (and less smelly) to do the right thing. Learn more about proper pet waste disposal and water protection through the ALCOSAN PUP Program. Content provided by the Ross Township Environmental Advisory Council

Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM), a time to raise awareness about unhealthy and abusive dating behaviors among teens. Dating violence can include emotional, verbal, physical, sexual, or digital abuse, and often involves control, isolation, or fear.
Education and awareness help teens recognize warning signs, build healthy relationships, and support friends who may be affected. Help is available through school counselors, community organizations, and national resources like Love is Respect, which offers confidential support for teens and families. For questions about local resources, contact the Ross Township Police Department Social Service Coordinator, Jordan Sager, at (412) 931-9070 ext. 257.

Winter Snow Removal: Do Your Part! Is your property adjacent to a main roadway? When clearing snow from your driveway, please follow these important guidelines to help keep roads safe for everyone:
- Shovel or plow snow to the right side of your driveway (as you face the roadway)
- Remove snow piles at the end of your driveway whenever possible to maintain clear sightlines
- Never push snow onto roadways, as this creates hazardous conditions for drivers and plow crews
Your cooperation helps keep our community safe and roads accessible during winter weather! Get winter driving tips here!
